About the Event
At this time Fairleigh Dickinson University requires all students on campus to be fully vaccinated for C19. Thus we are requiring all ARETE Swim Campers (residents & commuters) to be fully vacinated by June 10, 2022. From what we know now, this will allow us to teach and commune with as much safety as possible.
The ARETE Swim Camp has been sold out each of the past 20 years of operation. Those on our wait list will be accomodated as we are able.
The Florham Campus of FDU is centered on the former Vanderbilt estate. It is a beauitful, safe location that has housed the ARETE Swim Camp for the last decade. The Ferguson Recreation Center houses the gorgeous FDU Aquatic Center. The eight-lane 25 yard pool allows for coaching and teaching from each of the four different sides of the pool. The Recreation Center will be accessible for camp lectures, video review and our unique Inner Engineering Program.
Our camp is focused on building World Class technique, starts and turns; and the re-engineering of each swimmer's mental strength to bring out the best of their ability. Our staff provides consistent and near constant feedback to each of our swimmers. Our attentive listeners tend to experience enormous improvement as swimmers and as teammates.
The ARETE camp staff is led by Coach Chuck Warner and Head Counselor Coach Noah Yanchulis. Coach Warner is the former Head Coach at Rutgers University, where he founded the ARETE Swim Camp in 1997. Coach Warner is a three-time USA National team coach, author of three books on swimming and works with all campers every day. Coach Yanchulis boasts a stellar athletic career at Seton Hall University where he was a team captain and Big East Champion. Noah is currently the assistant coach at Oklahoma Christian University. This is his third year with the ARETE Swim Camp.
The dinning hall will provide all you can eat meals to our campers. Resident campers will enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, while commuters will be join the full camp for lunch. Camp fees include meals, two snacks a day, underwater video, camp workbook and t-shirt.

You are paying the $520 balance for a day camper at the 2022 ARETE Commuter Camp. Refunds of the remaining balance can only occur after May 1 in the case of a documented medical emergency (which can include a positive C19 test within two days of camp).
